The first time that I saw the caterpillars feeding on the Passiflora laurifolia (Yellow Water Lemon) was in September 2015. Coincidently, one butterfly was seen at the same location and on this vine itself. The past sighting of caterpillars were on Passiflora foetida (Wild Water Lemon).

Many caterpillars were spotted on another host plant, Turnera ulmifolia (Yellow Alder), in December 2023.
